Anthem Vaccine Incentive Program Up to $250.00 Per Patient: CHA-CHING!
If you've ever wondered why doctors have been so pushy about the vaccines...it's pretty simple. Follow the money.
We've all heard about this happening, but to see it on an official Anthem document makes it even more disgusting.
Anthem Kentucky writes:
As a participating practice in the COVID-19 Provider Vaccine Incentive program, we recognize your hard work by offering incentives for helping patients make the choice to become vaccinated.
How about helping patients make the best decision for their particular needs? Maybe you should give bonuses for that? You have to assume this was a nationwide program. It's interesting, isn't it? Insurance companies are usually very stingy with their money. Gotta jump through the right hoops or you'll end up digging into your own pockets. Need a surgery? Well, maybe you don't. We better look into this.
But in this instance they were willing to pass out A LOT of money if practices got most of their cattle vaccinated. The more vaccinated the more money they made. Explains a lot, though, doesn't it? I've heard and read many stories of doctors being extremely pushy about the vaccines. A doctor told a friend of mine, "You're going to kill your wife if you don't get it."
Show Us the Money!
Here are the money sections (the important stuff!) from Anthem's incentive program:
How you can qualify for a bonus
If your practice meets the below thresholds for vaccination with at least one dose by September 1, 2021, you will receive the initial incentive payment based on the following rates:
30% Anthem members vaccinated — $20 bonus per vaccinated member
40% Anthem members vaccinated — $45 bonus per vaccinated member
50% Anthem members vaccinated — $70 bonus per vaccinated member
60% Anthem members vaccinated — $100 bonus per vaccinated member
75% Anthem members vaccinated — $125 bonus per vaccinated member
The final incentive payment is calculated based on members who are newly vaccinated between September 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021 (see the Appendix for calculation examples). If your practice meets the below thresholds for vaccination with at least one dose by December 1, 2021, you will receive the final incentive payment based on the following rates:

This article also appears on my website, The Asylum. The website also has several things that are not possible to do on Substack: The World Economic Forum Members Reference (thanks to Dr. Malone), Red State/Blue State reference showing Senate and House percentages by party affiliation, quotes, a large resources section, a robust search feature and some other things unique to the site: quizzes, word games and leaked communications. These latter three are satirical and funny, at least in my mind, but you'll have to be the ultimate judge on that.
Thanks for publicizing this. It's been assumed for awhile.
My follow up would be, how much did each pharmacy get "incentivized"? Those same pharmacies, that somehow in the last few years, became able to prescribe "medication" without a patient history, without an exam, often without so much as a questionnaire. As they fill a doctor's prescription they're hustling "have you had your flu, shingles, HepB, HPV?", ad nauseum....
Before the Pharma/Insur hustle in doctor's offices, there was Pharma hustle in the brothels of K St D.C., excuse me I mean the esteemed offices of honorable senators and congressmen, so the rules could be bent to their liking.
My dad was a lobbyist for awhile in the late sixties, before they bribed their puppets, but it still felt slimy even back then.
