CJ Hopkins: Guilty
If you can't convict a dissident the first time around, just try it again. That's how they do it in Germany.
Every journalist that has covered my case, everyone in this courtroom, understands what this prosecution actually is. It has nothing to do with punishing people who disseminate pro-Nazi propaganda. It is about punishing political dissent, and intimidating critics into silence. I’m not here because I put a swastika on my book cover. I am here because I put it behind a “Covid” mask. I am here because I dared to criticize the German authorities. I am here because I refused to shut up and follow orders.
— CJ Hopkins
I’ve been following CJ Hopkins on Substack for a while now. As the cartoon explains, in his second trial held yesterday (Sept 30, 2024), his acquittal in the first trial was overturned. His crime is the cover on the book you see here.
Notice the swastika on the mask. That was his crime [I technically got this wrong…it was Hopkins’s Tweets that the court addressed….see article below] and I think there was a Tweet or two that also helped convict him. Take some time to read his statement to the appellate court here. It’s really good.
CJ’s book is excellent, you can read my review of The Rise of the New Normal Reich here.
UPDATE
This is an excellent piece about the trial by someone who was there.

Hear about CJ Hopkins’s trial?
Yeah, he got acquitted.
No, that was the first one.
They tried him again?
Yup. Guilty.
No doubt, then, he spoke the truth. The New Normal Reich hates The Truth.
