That's true. Another event of synchronicity for me this morning. I will be posting a meme tomorrow morning about a pendulum....it looks like a wrecking ball....
I don't know if he came up with that metaphor or not, but that's really about as accurate as it gets, with the exception that maybe 'absurdity' is not a strong enough word, perhaps 'barbarism with advanced weaponry' might be a better descriptor. The elites are desperate to ignite global war - again. If they get their way, I'm afraid the descent into the worst behavior imaginable will be unleashed upon us all. Do it, my friend, make that cartoon. Let us share it far and wide!
You're doing the Lord's work. I'm a believer in mutually promoting each others work. My content is apolitical and I keep a pretty thick wall there, but when a fact, with the truth about human nature is sharable on 'Notes', then I do this in hopes we help each other grow. You are on to something big with these asylum toons, your logo is right out of 'a mad, mad, mad, world' in case anyone noticed.
Yeah, so what else is new. Anyone with "common sense" is always stupid, wrong, a threat to pretty much anything, and an idiot. I enjoy being all those things, because when what ever their true idiocy blows up in their faces, I get to point and have a good belly laugh. Then I walk away and let them clean up the mess they made. (The pointing and laughing is my favorite part.)
I am preparing a kind of essay / book review on Eric Hoffer. Here's something I read just minutes before your comment:
"Both domestic and foreign intellectuals seem to have a vital need for the assumption that the people who built and run this country are stupid. They are not bothered by the mystery of how stupid Americans tamed and mastered a savage continent and made it a cornucopia of plenty. Nor are they bothered by the evidence from every part of the world where intellectuals are in power everything, including the weather, ceases to perform as it should." — Eric Hoffer, Working and Thinking on the Waterfront
That's a great quote! However, considering the crap that's in charge right now, in many places, I think they have a good reason to think we're all stupid. 😢😭
How dare Orange man bad, survive democrats peaceful attempts to murder him peacefully and destroy him legally, through fictional crimes.
This made me laugh out loud....thanks!
The pendulum that is nearing the end of its arc will be a wrecking ball.
The question is will it swing back to normalcy, or just break the string and fly further off into absurdity.

It's made...comes out tomorrow. Some finishing touches today....
