The Trust of the Many Betrayed

A poem about the vaccinated using "The Charge of the Light Brigade" by Alfred Lord Tennyson as a model.

I
Get the shot, get the booster,
Stay up to date,
All in the Clinics of Death
Walked the millions and millions.
“Onward, the Many Betrayed!
Wear a face mask!” they said.
Into the Clinics of Death,
Walked the millions and millions.

II
“Onward, the Many Betrayed!”
Was there a man unswayed?
Not though the citizen knew.
Too many had lied.
Their's not to make reply,
Their's not to reason why,
Their's to comply and die.
Into the Clinics of Death,
Walked the millions and millions.

III
CNN to right of them,
CDC to left of them,
New York Times in front of them,
Propagandized and terrified;
Stormed at with lies and falsehoods,
Boldly they strode in ignorance,
Into the Clinics of Death,
Into the mouth of hell,
Walked the millions and millions.

IV
Lost all their common sense there,
Lost their freedoms in the dare,
No questions for doctors there,
Injected with regret, while
Some in the world resisted:
Did their own research of the state,
With eyes wide open they escaped;
Young and Old
Defied every single mandate,
Ridiculed and maligned,
They secured their liberty, but
Not the millions and millions.

CNN to right of them,
CDC to left of them,
The WHO behind them
Propagandized and terrified;
Stormed at with lies and intel,
While family and friends fell,
They who were tricked so well
Slumped thro' the jaws of Death,
Returned to the mouth of hell,
All that was left of them,
Left of the millions and millions.

VI
When will their memories fade?
O the horrible mistakes they made!
Some emerged enraged.
Punish elites well paid!
Avenge the Many Betrayed,
Injured millions and millions!
